Approaching the final Opera 10.0 release

Software

We are quickly approaching the final release of Opera 10.0, so we have been working on fixing bugs and stabilizing the program.

What we need to do now is to identify any remaining issues that are serious enough to block the release (so-called "showstoppers"). There are some more bugfixes coming up, so we are not quite ready for a release candidate yet, but you should definitely let us know about any serious issues we may have missed.

This build includes numerous bugfixes and general stability work, as well as skin fixes, and some important changes to Opera Link. Opera Unite has also received some attention based on the feedback from the public.

Automatic updates are not available for this snapshot at the moment.

These include the Linux 4.8 kernel packages and an updated graphics stack based on a newer X.Org Server version and Mesa 3D Graphics Library. Read more
