Are these the first images of Google Chrome OS?

Google wasn't especially generous with the specifics when it came to Chrome OS in their original announcement. In a nutshell, they called it "an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks."
Looking for something a bit more tangible? We just might have it for you.
An anonymous tipster sent the following images to us this morning, claiming they are actual images of Chrome OS. We can't say much for certain at this point, so pass judgment yourselves in the comments.
Do these images really show the early stages of Google's enigmatic OS, or are they just the work of a clever and industrious techy?
Notepad not an operating system make? Where are the toolbars?
People start to use Fax to save money on telephone calls? Now cellphones use text messages.
So, it is logical that Chrome OS is a note pad wasting the background theme.
Some Chrome OS will even have a LCD keyboard?
The ultimate Chrome OS, will have voice commands to send text, no need of toolbars to get display downloads?
What can we think of next?
Footnote:
Dragon Naturally speaking 10 is upto 99% accurate and three time faster than typing. It still needs spelling check and grammar check using object technology to improve for voice command browser OS? But, version 10 standard can already surf the net on Microsoft internet explorer by speaking.
Footnote on Google technology:
Google started with video compression and character recognition for their search engine. Used 270 programmers to improve character recognition to have accurate keyword in video search. This type of technology is on going with navigator software in GPS map navigation by speech. Now they could very well use audio data compression and voice recognition with 270 programmers in realtime to improve voice recognition for a voice command operating system for smartphone and smartbook, similar to usage in GPS systems in your car?
