Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

meh
What does "meh" mean?
re: meh
Usually it means like: "I don't know" or "I don't care" or "whatever" or "<shrugs>" ...something like that. In this case it probably means: I'm not impressed or it don't matter or it's okay.
re: Theme
I like it. Maybe a tad to simplistic/clean - but it loads fast. On a slightly different topic - who's Jose Rangel and why does he get the footer on every page?
re: jose
Cuz he made the penguin logo and header background for me that I've been using for ..how many years? He was a great graphic artist, made lots of wallpapers and stuff and posted them on kde-look.org, but then he just disappeared one day. poof...
you're always logged in, you could try one of the other themes listed on your account settings page if this one is too simplistic for your tastes. The one I had up this morning was kinda okay too, but I really like the clean look of this one for default I think.
re: new theme
The new theme should be called "whitefungus" since it seems to grow on ya.
Only "thing" that really bugs me is the difference between a "new link" and a "visited link".
For me (and my middle aged eyes) the difference between dark blue and black is very hard to tell apart.
re: visited links
Is that any better for ya Skip?
re: links
Yes - thanks for the quick theme mod work.
//unless you're just yanking my chain and didn't make any changes - but want me to THINK you made changes - so now I'm confused am I really seeing a change or should I just think I'm seeing a change. - it's budget prep month here so my minds firmly mired in bean counting muck.
re: links
lolol naw, I lightened the links and darkened the visited so they'd contrast against each other little more.
re: visited
Can you tell the difference now?I couldn't wait for you to come back to see it.
But I'll fudge around with em see if I can come up with something.
Your theme?
If anyone is missing a theme they used to use now, please let me know and I'll try to get it reinstalled. Thanks.
