They mean to say it is your Widows and Ubuntu app store. For if it were a "Linux" store, certainly one would expect more than Ubuntu pkgs to be supported.

The software trend is definitely changing. Four years ago CnR warehouse had a few thousand Linux apps for too high a price. Now, Linux has over 30,000 apps; if we include all the cli and obsoleted apps(not supported by new Linux kernels).
When you do cloud computing, the data and sources had to be qualified. Tuxmachines subscription(list categories) can derive some money too? As tools and utilities galore is needed to keep track. You need favorite list(keywords) within lists to do a job right. Bookmarks already is tree of lists.
So, we are going to see many 99 cent jobs for apps. Tough to stay in software business, if you use open source without protection on your income(patents or copyright)?
