If it looks, acts and smells brown then it must be.
I am a big believer in that people are defined not by what they say but by what they do. If a person talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk then what they say, according to me, holds as much water as a vegetable strainer. I also feel the same way about companies.
One particular company, whose bread and butter is directly effected by Open Source, has a checkered history. Alternatively waging war and trying to smear as much brown stuff around as possible, then trying to cozy up and stick as close as that same brown stuff sticks to a blanket. Still, so far it has been all talk and little action. A bit of stick rattling and some name calling.
What really shows what this company is like is the way that it treats its clients. It is that very self serving attitude and big brother, mother and daddy approach which turned me off of them in the first place.
