Microsoft Loses Appeal Over Word Patent

Still Novell only, sadly... take a look at this so-called "promise" (maybe we should start calling Mono and Moonlight "promiseware" and beg Microsoft). The codecs must be retrieved from Novell, so this is not much more than another round of PR which pretends Microsoft's Moonlight (yes, the official site says "Microsoft Moonlight") has given its "blessing". It's all about combating (X)HTML and Flash.

Ardour 4.0 released

The Ardour project is pleased to announce the release of Ardour 4.0. This release brings many technical improvements, as well as new features and over a thousand bug fixes. The biggest changes in this release: Better cross platform support. Ardour now runs on GNU/Linux, OS X and for the first time, Windows.
