IE9 is html5, vector graphics zoom, mpeg4/h.264, not css3 ?
Not css3 means not silverlight? Some css3 will be replaced by picture in a picture of ansi color graphics, but in Mpeg4/h.264 codec, which does not need plug-ins but built into window manager?
The fact that the IE9 demo has no back, bookmarks, and other history usage maybe tailtell of the future yet to come. Some(yahoo portal) already show up on the present browser autoupdate, history is not used to speed up webpage rendering. It goes thru text based webpage first, when you refresh, then XML webpage is rendered. Text webpage simplified is to get text to speech presentation worked out on mobile and then desktop devices. Voice controlled computers are the future browsers?
Speed and performance is now C compiled(javascript), not c#. This is because of triple play data is now mpeg4/h.264. Very simple data compression of about 5 times ratio. Vector graphics used FPU is fast to zoom.
Multicore eventually will be 8 bit also, for scalability. 8 and 16 cores of 8 bit cpus will really speed up. 64 bit cpu is made up of two 32 bit cotes(32 bit branch prediction limitations) and a shift register to add to 64 bits. 8 bits cores need more shift registers to become 64 bits or 128 bits.
So, what else is new. We have been harping on these technology for years. Now people are ready to implement the technology of triple play data transmission.
Still OperaUnite shared files will make virtualization(extra redundant files) possible for search engines to avoid denial of service, cached on many desktops such as my Google toolbar for IE6 no longer available but still works well..
Ah, market analysts
I love the "Trading Idea - Is Red Hat Close To Resistance?" article. It basically spends four paragraphs saying "well, the stock might go down, or it might go up". Gee, thanks!
Well, 1929 crash happened when cash was short ? Recovery now
The government printed money to save the failing firms on Wall street. But, now they are paying back the government. Wall street philosophy is always, took care of their own. Many failed brokerages were taken over, and customers survived over the years if they have owned stock.
Right now, Wall street is in recovery mode due to cash flow in all the companies practicing productivity game(headcount reduction, Just-in time part time labor). Tax rate(income) is about 37-40% for well run companies. Dow index may go back to 14,000 and beyond. GDP did not expand, but cash flow(cash profit that can not hide from the government) is respectable.
Daily trading of RedHat is up and down every second, you have to do 1 minute charting to predict the next daytrading strategy? Fundamental analysis is that top line growth is more difficult(government monetary policy is not loose credit, but supplying more productive atm machines for cash payments to change hands faster), bottom line growth is productivity improvement(easily more savings).
