PCLinuxOS quarterly ISO updates released
The PCLinuxOS developers have released the quarterly ISO updates for the GNOME, KDE and LXDE editions of their Linux distribution. The 2010.07 releases include a number of desktop and package updates, but don't add any new features to the operating system.
The updated ISOs are based on the 2.6.33.5 Linux kernel and the included desktop environments have been updated to version 2.30.2 of GNOME and the latest 4.4.5 release of KDE SC. Package updates include Firefox 3.6.6, version 3.0.5 of the Thunderbird email client and GIMP 2.6.9. The Pidgin instant messenger application has been updated to version 2.7.1.
