Myth: Linux only has 1% market share

Opponent’s of the Open Source and or Linux community are quick to point to reports that claim that Linux only has a 1 percent market share or a little over. What is the truth about the adoption of Linux?
How Linux is distributed
The great thing about open source technology such as Linux is that it is freely distributed. Unlike Microsoft Windows which comes pre-installed on most of the computers that are sold. And what happens to many of those systems when they are received with Windows pre-installed? In many cases those systems are wiped clean of any vestige of Windows and replaced with Linux.

Myth: Some Bloggers are dumber then turnips
Ok, that's a trick subject line - because obviously after reading this guys blog, some bloggers ARE dumber then turnips.
You'd think they'd spend 5 minutes using Google to research their premise, but nooooooooo, it's so much easier just to pull something out of your ass and write about it.
OS Fingerprinting is how they determine market share, not on SALES of a FREE freaking OS.
You know how some people have nightmares after watching horror flic's? Way back when, at Uni, they played Texas Chainsaw Massacre at the Uni Center, and it freaked me out for several nights. Now days, I wish I NEVER watched the movie IDIOCRACY, because it's all coming true, and it's FREAKING ME OUT day after day after day.
