The Humble Indie Bundle Review
Last May, PC gamers on Windows, Mac and Linux had a chance to pay want they wanted for five indie games. Gamers had two weeks pay what they wanted for World of Goo, Lugaru, Aquaria, Gish and Penumbra Overture. Your money also went to two charities, Child’s Play and EFF. The Humble Indie Bundle did incredible well, receiving almost $1.3million from 138,813 contributors. I have finally had time to play all five games, and I will briefly review each one, in rank order
1. World of Goo
This cute puzzle game has been incredible popular on console and PC. It’s unique, fun, and loved by everyone. World of Goo is basically a puzzle game which uses physics: you build structures out of Goo balls. You need to get these goo balls to a pipe. In total, there are 48 unique levels split across 5 chapters. What makes these levels unique is how every level looks very different, and has its own soundtrack. This gives the game a different atmosphere and art style, which keeps it fresh.
Each level starts with a certain amount of goo balls, which have two purposes.
