Google Inc. Renews Firefox Search Deal

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has renewed its search deal with Mozilla Firefox.

Though the company’s own Chrome has surpassed Mozilla Firefox to become the second-most popular web browser, Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has renewed its search deal with Mozilla.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) will continue to provide royalties to Firefox for making the company the default search option in the upper-right hand corner of Mozilla Firefox.
