Zorin OS First Impressions

Zorin OS wants to be known as the “gateway to Linux for Windows users”. It is available in a Free edition and 4 Premium editions (Ultimate, Business, Multimedia, and Gaming). I’m running the Free edition, version 5.2 Core 64 bit.

After installation, you have access to a decent assortment of applications:

* 5 games (Aisleriot solitaire, Sudoku, Mahjongg, Mines, Sudoku and Quadrapossel)

* 4 graphics programs (GIMP, LibreOffice Draw, Shotwell photo manager, and a simple scanning program)
