Buying A Printer For Ubuntu
Recently Tom asked:
“Matt, I’m looking to buy a new printer for my Ubuntu system. But when I looked at the supported printers page for Ubuntu, much of it was really old. Do you have a list that you recommend?”
Tom, in fact I do. In this article, you will find fantastic printers for every budget. Even better, you can get them shipped right to your door and in many cases, it will be cheaper than you might find elsewhere. Another thing to note — the HP printer focus here. Why? Because even though there is CUPS and SANE support for Canon, Brother and Epson printers/all-in-ones, these printers are pretty spotty in the ongoing support realm. HP by contrast, has the most solid Linux support available.
