Preview of GNOME 3.6
Matthias Clasen has done it again. He has given followers of his blog another interesting preview of upcoming GNOME features. This time it's for 3.6. Clasen says he's more excited about this release than any since 3.0 and that's due to an impressive list of major updates and small changes.
"The list of major updates is impressive: new message tray, updated Activities Overview, lock screen, integrated input sources, accessibility on by default, new Nautilus. Then there are all the small changes:"

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
