Debian 7.0 is progressing and testers were treated to Release Candidate 1 recently. On the other side of town Mageia has reported a change in the release schedule for upcoming version 3.

Debian Installer 7.0 Release Candidate 1 was announced on February 17. Since the last beta lot of improvements and fixes have been implemented. Among those is a respectable number of supported hardware additions.
