fair warning - going once....
Well, I think I'm going to accept one of the two $1000 bids received, unless anyone else wants to bid...
The last 8 or 9 years at tuxmachines.org has been my lifeline. I truly believe my starting this website gave me a leg up or even facilitated my latest career attempts - writing about Linux and Open Source Software. I haven't got rich, but I got by and some times better than others. But it's also been a lot of work, rewarding, but a lot of work.
It was a lot of work during a really hectic period in my personal life. I've been single for over 20 years and much of that I was trying to date and find mr. right. I never did (I thought). Later on and during most of time in Linux, I struggled with several different illnesses. But I seemed to have pulled through most of all that.
This year has been great for me in so many ways. I guess I can tell yaw. My second ex-husband started coming around again regularly last Spring and we've ended up back together. I can't believe it, but I'm in love with him again (still). I'm moving back in with him in the next few weeks and we're getting re-married this coming Spring. But I've had some lingering symptoms from my illnesses and I'm tired a lot.
I can't really self-host my own site out in the boonies where {significant other} lives and I've never been able to hand over control to a hosting company. I have a lot of work to do get moved and the new house all purty and stuff. I still need / want to work for ostatic.com and it's a lot of work being someone's wife (as I recall).
So, anywho, if I don't get any more bids today, I'll let it go for $1000.
Fair warning, going once....

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

Congratulations
Congratulations Susan, and best wishes of course. Surely you have thought it all through, it's a big step moving together again and letting this baby go!
So, I hope it all goes well and don't let the naysayers, if there are any (like my dark side), ruin it for you. Good luck!!!
