Low down on Firefox, a universal browser for Linux ?

Its a universal browser at 4.87 mb length. On windows, it looks like IE6.0(around 100 mb) if you use Yahoo portal. On Mactel, OsX or windows. On Linux, who knows? It can be customized with plug-ins and extensions. Do it yourself spirited. Imports other browser configuration data and histories. Great for tiny Linux to put you on internet surfing.

footnote:
This post used IE6.0 first then Firefox for this footnote. Tuxmachines webpage is slower with radically simple PcLos symbol graphics. Bank triggered different computer logon. Ebay did not remember IE6.0 logon info. But otherwise its like starting another computer or operating system. This just means cookies are not compatible with IE6.0. Read mail gets outlok express. Extensions for faster Firefox is easily installed from Mozilla virtual desktop. Unfortunately these extension actually slow down the webpage download, when conditions are not ideal for download accelerators. Uninstall extension does not work. Setup again reistall Firefox without any extensions. this indicates the frugal codes not supporting gui interfaces.

More footnote:
The reason Firefox is slow, as usual is caused by lack of cache or previous webpage or repeated links. Each time you click on anything on firefox, data transfer begins on the internet. Never fetch anything from the cached data in swap file in ramdisk. So, Firefox team needs a director, who understand how to use cache to speed up software data transfer. You fetch the checksum from each link, then decide whether to load from swap file or the link?

The most footnote:
Major ISP Juno website is incompatible with Firefox 1.5.0.2 because of its inability to write cookies into Firefox file system. Juno should be informed by firefox team on the mailing list, how to work around this deficiency. Juno also has problems with IE7.0 compatibility.
