OpenELEC 4.0.7 Has Been Released with Linux Kernel 3.14.11
The OpenELEC team was proud to announce a couple of days ago the immediate availability for download of the seventh maintenance release of the stable 4.0 branch of OpenELEC, a Linux kernel-based operating system built around the award-winning XBMC Media Center project.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
