It would appear that Michael Tunnell, the developer of the uGet download manager software for GNU/Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, silently released the fourth maintenance build in the uGet 2.0 series on the first day of 2016.

Every category has an independent configuration that can be inherited by each download in that category. uGet uses very few resources while at the same time packs an unparalleled powerful feature set.
