AeroCool AeroPower black/silver line 550W
Are you having feelings of upgrading that old system of yours or building a new one? Do you think you need that powerful processor, VGA card and all those drives? Perhaps you are simply tired of your system and want something more powerful or aesthetically pleasing. If you are, you need to face a certain fact. Today's systems cannot be safely run with 3 year old 300W power supply units. The power supply unit is the heart of every system and power demands keep on continuously rising on a daily basis. This certain fact requires that you will require something stronger regrettably to many enthusiasts. Why not combine something stronger with great aesthetics while upgrading? AeroCool has an answer for your next power supply upgrade, the AeroPower black/silver line 550W power supply unit. AeroCool is a relatively new company in the computer industry, established during 2002 in the USA. They have their own R&D with manufacturing ability, so they were able to grow quickly in the industry. Let us see how well they did designing and building a strong power supply unit.
Features
- Titanium coated mirror finish
- Compatible with both P4 and AMD
- Silver fan blades
- Extremely silent
- 2 x SATA cables
- Wire sleeving on all cables
- Press and release design connectors for easy detachment
- 2 Year warranty
- Active PFC (Optional)
Summing up, I believe that a score of 9 out of 10 is most fair for the AeroPower. It is very strong and quite silent, plus aesthetically appealing. It would score even higher if there was a dedicated VGA line and a little stronger voltage lines.
