Larger hdd uses larger blocks, waste more residual space ?
I am a purist on hdd size. Meaning I like small hdd for use with small LBA blocks. So that small modules(files) do not waste any free sector space in the FAT table.
Linux uses 4.5 million lines of codes to do the kernel functions. Files are small, and may occupy each block with too much wasted free space. Using compressed drives may save free space on hdd. Some file system may occupy less hdd blocks?
