Wireshark 2.2.2 Network Protocol Analyzer Brings over 30 Security and Bug Fixes
A new maintenance update for the world’s most popular network protocol analyzer, Wireshark, an open-source and cross-platform software used for network troubleshooting, development, and analysis, arrived today, November 17, 2016.
Wireshark 2.2.2 is here one and a half months after the first point release for the 2.2 series of the applications, bringing over 30 security and bug fixes. First of all, it attempts to fix a bunch of vulnerability and crashes reported by users from version 2.2.1, such as a Profinet I/O long loop problem, crash in OpenFlow, AllJoyn, and DCERPC, as well as a DTN infinite loop issue.

We've been informed earlier by Vivaldi's Ruarí Ødegaard about the availability of a second Release Candidate towards the upcoming major Vivaldi 1.5 release of the free and cross-platform web browser based on Chromium.
Vivaldi Snapshot 1.5.658.27 is out today, dubbed as RC2 build, to address the last remaining bugs before Vivaldi 1.5 gets promoted to the stable channel next week. The most important ones being a nasty bug that would not permit dragging or moving of tabs between windows using the context menu to work properly.
