OpenSUSE Is A Community Product - Respect That
In last few days I have read and heard quite a lot on that since Novell has a tie up with Microsoft now it is time to dump SUSE, trash it, replace it with other distro and so on.
I have mentioned on several occasions that even though this collaboration is up and functioning, it is still too early to come up with drastic conclusions. Also have mentioned that openSUSE is a community product and I am not planning to remove it from my computer, and will continue using it and am eagerly anticipating the next release, openSUSE 10.2. Pascal Bleser is a long time SUSE contributer, and here I completely agree with him. Here is a copy of his e-mail published on openSUSE lists:

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world.
