What is this vigr program thingy?
Here you are spending a few pleasant moments running a critical eye over your directory system when you are suddenly quite alarmed. Staring you accusingly in the face is a program thingy called "vigr". Oh No! You think. The viagra spam bots have infected my machine! Relax! It is not the viagra spam bots or anything to do with spam at all. It is an important program for your machines security though.
The "vigr" program program is part of the "Util-Linux" package. While this name sounds sinister it actually written to help prevent the sinister types from hijacking your machine.
