The Ubuntu Code of Conduct : What We Stand For
A conversation that I had yesterday has reminded me of the Ubuntu Code of Conduct and what we try to stand for as an Ubuntu community. Any Ubuntu Member (official) is required to sign this article before they can be approved for membership and it should be a reminder of the ideals we’re trying to live by.
The community (those not yet official members) should try to live by this standard as well. For those unfamiliar with the Code of Conduct I wanted to share it here.
- Be considerate. Your work will be used by other people, and you in turn will depend on the work of others. Any decision you take will affect users and colleagues, and we expect you to take those consequences into account when making decisions.
- Be respectful.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |
