A Week In Linux: Interesting Discoveries
It's been about a week since I started relying entirely on Linux as my operating system, and I've stumbled upon a few interesting problems, as well as discovered a few interesting caveats, along the way. I think now's a good time to share.
1. I loathe all that is GUI. This is an odd realization, considering my knack for usability, HCI and design, but as I pointed out to Doug yesterday, Usability and Human Computer Interaction doesn't necessarily imply GUI development.
2. Productivity in a Linux development environment is ridiculously higher than it is in Windows. I had assumed this from the start, but development has become more of a pleasure and less of a pain for me ever since I made the infamous switch.
3. My curiosity has been reborn.

Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
