PCLinuxOS 2007 Screenshots
The much anticipated release of PCLinuxOS, version 2007, is now available for download. New in PCLinuxOS 2007 is KDE 3.5.6, the Linux 2.6.18.8 kernel, OpenOffice.org 2.2, Thunderbird 2.0, FrostWire, and over 5,000 additional packages through the software repository.
I have some preliminary shots in the gallery as well.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The icon set is ugly

PCLinuxOS default icon set
Although PCLinuxOS is often praised for its appearance and beautiful eye candy, the default icon set isn't my favorite either. But, since many other icon sets are in the PCLinuxOS repositories, this is easy to change using synaptic (the graphical installer/updater), and kcontrol.
Your choices from the PCLinuxOS repository are:
