Top 10 Reasons I am converting from Microsoft to Linux. All the problems I have been having with Windows, Adobe products and cost of upkeep I have been playing and testing Ubuntu as a workstation and server.
Here are my top 10 reasons I am moving away from Windows/Mac to Ubuntu/Mac combination.
Ubuntu will make use of all my old computers. The installation can either be installed to the pc/mac or run directly from the CD. Old laptops can be used as print servers, internet stations and/or email stations. Ubuntu is available for PC, 64-Bit and Mac systems. At least 256 MB of RAM is required to run the desktop install CD. Install requires at least 4 GB of disk space. Can you imagine just needing 4 GB!!!
Ubuntu is faster at booting!
