I have been playing with KDE lately.
I have a new girlfriend, and she has the initials KDE. My wife, Gnome, is probably going to have a problem with this, but, see, at the ripe old age of 10, Gnome is starting to look a little long in the tooth.
But, I’m a modern guy, right? I can get past the appearances.
You know what though? Don’t tell Gnome, but KDE seems to be a little bit bouncier, springier and responsive. KDE seems to let me pick and choose my experience just a little bit more. As the MASTER OF MY DESKTOP, I like that. Why doesn’t GNOME let me customize my desktop colors?
Also, KDE has a far, far sexier musician friend. Her name is Amarok.
