Let’s start by clearing this up: Lie-nux or Lynne-ux?
Well it is Lynne-ux, because I was working on Minix, it sounds similar.
Isn't your name pronounced Lie-nus - like Linus from Peanuts?
I was partly named after him, but in Finland it's pronounced Lee-nus anyway - so it doesn't work that way either!
Linux hasn't made huge inroads on the desktop - is that a worry?

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
