Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

Mandriva Spring 2009.1 Spring a Winner
Read the Tuxradar review for details. From a KDE 4 desktop user perspective, this is one the best Mandriva releases in years. Far better than Kubuntu's Jaunty for Linux newbies and experienced Linux users alike.
I installed the full Mandriva club-member "Powerpack" edition, and I've not had a more seamless, trouble free Linux distro install, ever. And the more I use it, the more I like it.
