Say CHEESE in Ubuntu
Want to have some fun using a web-cam on Ubuntu? I suggest you get your hands on the Cheese application.
This neat little program can be used to snap some still images or video shots with fancy effects applied in real time. One thing is for sure, your Facebook profile shots will never be the same.
You can run multiple effects at the same time using this program and make the image show effects of for instance vertigo and dice together. The dice effect will slice the image into hundreds of tiny blocks and shuffle those blocks. On a live video image that is just to awesome for words!
