Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Open source free labor
Let's break that down, shall we?
"Open source free labor is a waste of money"
Being free and all, I don't see how that's possible.
"Open source free labor is a waste of time"
Well, that's your opinion. We are all entitled to one. But I have to disagree. After having used Linux for a number of years, and still having to use Windows at work, I would have to say, without reservation, that "Open source free labor" is NOT a waste of time. The Lunux kernel, is after all, open source. And I will choose Linux over ANY version of Windows, expecially, and including the one you promote every so often, WindowsME.
