Who are you? Where do you live? What do you do for a living?
I am Jérôme Quelin (aka jq), 34 years old. I am married and a father of a little boy. We are living in Lyon, France, where I’m working at Renault Trucks.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

Accident at the Mageia development offices
There was an accident and small fire today at the Mageia development offices when the Cauldron pot used to cook packages got too full, overturned, starting a small fire and burning some Mageia developers and volunteer packagers. The local fire department is currently investigating the incident.
