Sold! (tentatively)
I guess tuxmachines.org has been sold for $1000. I know it's kinda low, but times have changed and the new owner plans to carry on the tuxmachines tradition.
I suppose that's all I should say for now until the deal is written in stone.
Thanks everyone for everything: all the visits, all the jokes, comments, and donations. But more on that later as well.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. hi
what happened? is the new owner running the website now?
re: hi
Um, not quite yet, but the deal is done. The new owner has sent payment and I was gonna put up another post when it cleared and I handed over the reins. I expect payment to clear before the end of the week. At that time, I'll introduce him and hand it over. Until then, it's still me, Susan.
Oh, what happened? I just noticed that hits were falling, so, I updated the site and thought I'd work on it until the very end because I didn't want {new owner} to lose too many users. Besides, it's hard to adjust to not posting news. I keep seeing all these cool links...
thank you

You've done an excellent job with tuxmachines over the years, thank you for providing it to us all.
re:hi
I do hope you will still be at least involved maybe post stuff once in a while
Everyone is welcome to contribute
Hi hussam,
Everyone is welcome to contribute, especially Susan. The site will be community-driven and Susan will eternally be its mother.
News aggregation
I am starting today, but it's likely that news aggregation will properly start next week.
