The Open Source Funding Conundrum
Every time I hear of another great open source project shutting its doors, I hold my breath in hopes it will be forked. Sadly though, this isn't a great plan for all projects. Sometimes these projects are rich in users but poor in developers. In this article, I'll explore this issue and what can be done to keep open source projects funded.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
