Doom 3
Doom 3 was highly anticipated, well reviewed, and then mysteriously to me, slated by your average gamer. I really enjoyed the game, and have spent two years wondering if actually, I was just an id fanboy, or if I did really like it.
Well I figured it out, I did really like it, it’s my kind of game. It’s a survival-horror game, and at points it was genuinely scary, and not just in a “Boo! I’m an imp!” kind of way. Just up my street.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |
