Cold Turkey Ubuntu
Chances are, you’ve been exposed to the hype surrounding Ubuntu as of late (and if you haven’t, you probably won’t find this entry very interesting), so I’m not going to add to that. We all know what Ubuntu is by now. But I have this to say: I just switched to Ubuntu on my main machine.
Throughout all the hype around Ubuntu, I don’t think I’ve seen many actual real user accounts of people who have made the switch (and it’s only really in the last few weeks we’ve been starting to hear about people switching), so I’m going to tell mine.
Five hours ago, after months of deliberation, I finally gave my overly analytical mind the middle-finger and just decided to install Ubuntu. Complete cold turkey from Windows. I’ve been running Ubuntu for months already on my secondary machine, merely as a meants to just try it at first, but in more recent weeks, it’s been with a mind to eventually switch on my main PC.
