Linux OS "just as bloated as Windows"
A WEB SITE has launched into an attack on the 15 year old Linux in a tirade which puts the attack on James I in the shade.
The writer or writers accuse Linux developers of being puerile while Unix is "an extremely user hostile OS".
Further Linux "has always been extremely flawed, and hopeless inferior to the design philosophy of Apple - later adopted by Microsoft".

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

kdict: puerile
Ok, I admit I had to look it up.
puerile - Boyish; childish; trifling; silly.
(We need to sick Helios on 'em!)

You talk the talk, but do you waddle the waddle?
Helios
Well, seem Helios might not be up to the fight anymore:
"We must say goodbye."

You talk the talk, but do you waddle the waddle?
Bloated
I have an XP box sitting next to this Linux box and I respectfully disagree.
Cooler heads prevail
After reading my email and receiving a message about helios's plight, then reading this "article", I was set to pounce on helios's behalf. After carefully reading the so-called article and formulating my responses, I arrived at the "replies" following the article.
Notice at the very bottom the bar stating " Powered by YakuWiki, Tcl/Tk, and Apache Rivet". The very last line on the page says "Linux Incompatibility List is Copyright © David N. Welton" with a link to his web page.
Clicking the link leads to this blurb on his web page: "I can be contacted at any of the following addresses: davidw (at) apache.org, davidw (at) debian.org, davidw (at) dedasys.com. I welcome correspondence regarding pretty much anything - so feel free to write about whatever's on your mind."
Maybe this "rant" is David's idea of a bad joke. Maybe David's web page has indeed been hacked, as suggested by the article @ http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=33601 . Maybe this is a Debian user's jab at the usability of Ubuntu. Who knows?
Maybe Susan could email this guy at his debian.org's email address and ask him what's up? Maybe everyone could do this? I already have.
I agree with this reply: "To think we have to waste precious resources to sustain such an idiot.
Please, no harsh words. Microsoft's trolls just don't start out with much to work with, do they?"
