A new build of Retro-Pixel Castles is available, has a new launcher for Linux and a whole new interface
Retro-Pixel Castles really is quite awesome (seriously, go try it!) and now even more so. The developer has included a Linux launcher bundled with Java to remove any issues for Linux users. Oh, it also has a flashy new interface.
If you don't remember the game: It's essentially a village builder with god sim-like elements. You have a world map to build and look after multiple villages and it's just damn lovely.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |
