Inteview with Croteam's Vedran Skrnjug on Serious Sam 2
We've had the opportunity to interview Vedran Skrnjug, one of Croteam's programmers about the Serious Sam2 Linux client. With the interview we got a beta of the Linux pointrelease too. So stay tuned for the review. Here is the interview.
Could you introduce yourself. What do you do at Croteam?
First of all, in the name of the whole team, I would like to send a warm greeting to all Linux users and Serious Sam fans out there. My name is Vedran Skrnjug and I am one of the Croteam's programmers.
Ryan C. Gordon aka icculus ported the the first version of Serious Sam in his spare time. Did you create the port inhouse this time?
Yes, this time the port was done in-house. Of course, we are still in contact with Ryan who kindly offered to help where needed to make the porting as smooth
as possible.
How does it come that you have decided to create an Linux port? Do you think that the market for Linux games is big enough?
